Which Fulltone pedal is this?
Full-Drive 1 is essentially the drive circuit of the Full-Drive 2 isolated into its own compact, single-channel pedal — it has no Boost circuit, unlike the Full-Drive 2 V2 which includes a separate Boost/second-drive stage. FD1's Comp-Cut mode intentionally recreates the fuller-midrange CC voicing of the earliest (pre Flat-Mids/pre-MOSFET) FD2 units rather than the flatter CC found on later FD2 revisions. Where the FD2 V2 offers independent Drive 1/Drive 2 controls and a Wide/Standard/Half-Clipped switch alongside its CC/V/FM voicing, FD1 keeps a single Overdrive knob and only the 3-way clipping toggle.

FAQ
Does the FD1 have a Boost channel like the FD2? No — the Full-Drive 1 is a single-channel overdrive with no Boost. If you want the boost circuit and independent Drive 2 stage, that lives in the Full-Drive 2 V2, available separately as its own pedal on our site.
What's the difference between CC, Vintage and FM modes? CC (Comp-Cut) tightens the low end and opens the dynamics for a more articulate feel. Vintage is a classic mid-forward TS-style voicing. FM (Flat-Mids) removes the mid hump for a more amp-like response.
Is FD1's Comp-Cut the same as the FD2's Comp-Cut? The FD1 Comp-Cut voicing intentionally recreates the fuller-midrange CC of the earliest Full-Drive 2 units, not the flatter CC on later revisions.

Is this pedal true bypass? Yes. Fulltone Full-Drive 1 Overdrive Pedal uses Fulltone's own 3PDT true-bypass footswitch — the signal path is fully disconnected when the pedal is off.
