Amp Mode is the standalone version of the MOSFET boost circuit inside Jackson Audio's PRISM preamp, distilled to a single silent-turning knob that works as a clean buffer at zero, a subtle push into your amp, or a full preamp-style boost.
MOSFET transistors are a popular choice for boosts because they clip in an amp-like way. Amp Mode delivers a loud, harmonically rich boost and can run as an always-on preamp for your whole signal, as a boost in front of an overdrive to push it harder, or after an overdrive to add level and clarity. It also stacks well with other pedals.
