All good, pedal as excpected, enough review on the internet. Vendor was very helpfull following a carrier mistake.

I am quite pleased with this purchase. It was prompted delivered and I was up and running quickly. After connecting the GP-5 to a small midi, it was also tested with the band. No concerns!

The models in this, are authentic enough for me, and I own the fractal fm3, and tonex pedal. I like the fact that I can just use my headphones for practicing. The jcm 800 sound perfect for my needs. I run the gain low, and master high, use an external overdrive box (jca Texas flood) for my dirty tone, and the valeton jp5's switch can be set to turn on any effects, so I use it as a boost...lots of other possibilities tho. Also, your gonna want some flat response headphones if your setting up tones, because when I ran the gp5 into an frfr cab, it sounded different due to the crappy headphones I initially tried to use to dial some tones...get some good headphones worth a couple of hundred, and your pretty close to how it would sound going thru frfr speaker cab. Make sure to setup the trim input into the gp5, a little lower if your gonna use external gain pedals before it. I think all the models sound better with less gain and more master volume. All models are not equal, some are more upfront than others, I found the uk800 and twin model to be awesome tone building platforms...they seem to be more open than some other models ..I come from a hard rockn bluesy influence, think Kenny Wayne, Pat Travers, bad company, etc etc.

The delivery of this pedal was a week early, much appreciated, and will use pefalzoo again, thanks guys!
