Which Eventide modulation pedal is this?
ModFactor is the modulation member of the Factor floor range, with ten algorithms and a dedicated SLOW/FAST ramp switch. TriceraChorus is the compact specialist if you specifically want the three-voice tri-chorus and MicroPitch detune sound. Riptide covers Uni-Vibe territory alongside two drive voices. Power and pedalboard compatibility
Runs on a 9V DC center-positive supply through a 5.5 mm / 2.5 mm barrel plug and draws up to 500 mA. Center positive is the opposite of most BOSS-style pedalboard outputs, so use the included Eventide adapter or a board output that can be set to center positive and deliver 500 mA. Bypass is selectable between true analog bypass and buffered bypass, and mute and effect-tail behaviour are selectable too, which is what you want when the pedal sits in an amp effects loop.

FAQ
What makes ModFactor different from a normal chorus pedal? Two LFOs. One modulates the effect, the second modulates that modulation, so the movement keeps evolving instead of repeating a fixed sweep.
Does the SLOW/FAST switch really ramp, or does it just jump? It ramps. The dedicated performance footswitch glides the LFO rate between the slow and fast settings, which is what rotary-speaker parts need.
Can I sync modulation to my band's tempo? Yes. LFO rates follow the dedicated tap tempo or incoming MIDI clock over the five-pin DIN input or USB.
What power supply does it need? 9V DC center positive, 5.5 mm / 2.5 mm barrel, up to 500 mA. Center positive is unusual for pedalboards, so check your supply before plugging in.
Is it stereo? Yes. Two inputs and two outputs on quarter-inch jacks, switchable between mono and stereo and between guitar and line level.
