Which Eventide pitch pedal is this?
PitchFactor is the dedicated pitch and Harmonizer member of the Factor floor range, with ten pitch algorithms and delay built in. MicroPitch Delay is the compact pedal if you only want the fine-detune thickening and stereo widening part of that sound. The H9 Max Dark runs PitchFactor algorithms alongside delay, modulation and reverb in a smaller box, and the current H9 Harmonizer Gen 2 adds Eventide's newer polyphonic pitch shifting on top of the same idea.

Power and pedalboard compatibility
Runs on a 9V DC center-positive supply through a 5.5 mm / 2.5 mm barrel plug and draws up to 500 mA. Center positive is the opposite of most BOSS-style pedalboard outputs, so use the included Eventide adapter or a board output that can be set to center positive and deliver 500 mA. Bypass is selectable between true analog bypass and buffered bypass, and mute and effect-tail behaviour are selectable too, which is what you want when the pedal sits in an amp effects loop.

Does PitchFactor follow the key I am playing in? Yes, in the intelligent algorithms. Diatonic and Quadravox are set to a key and scale and generate harmonies that stay inside it.
Is the H910/H949 algorithm the real thing? It is Eventide's own recreation of their H910 and H949 rack Harmonizers, from the company that built the originals.
Can I use an expression pedal as a whammy? Yes. Any combination of parameters can be mapped to the expression input, which is how PitchFlex becomes a foot-controlled pitch bend.
Does it have a tuner? Yes, a tuner is built in, so a separate tuner pedal is optional rather than necessary.
What power does it need? 9V DC center positive at up to 500 mA on a 5.5 mm / 2.5 mm barrel plug. Confirm polarity before connecting a third-party supply.
How much latency does the pitch shifting add? Eventide does not publish a latency figure for PitchFactor, so we do not quote one. The pitch engine is the same family used in their rack Harmonizers.
