Description
TimeFactor runs two independent delay lines at once, so a warm tape echo can sit under a tight digital slapback, ping-pong across a stereo rig or turn into a reversed swell, all from one preset and one tap of the tempo switch.
TimeFactor is the dedicated delay member of Eventide's Factor floor range: nine delay algorithms and a Looper, twin delay engines and 100 presets, with 5-pin MIDI and true analog bypass. Rose is the smaller, single-purpose modulated delay if you want one voice and six knobs instead of a library, and UltraTap handles rhythmic multi-tap delays and pad swells.

- Bypass: true analog (relay) bypass, or DSP bypass that lets effect tails ring out, which suits an amp effects loop.

FAQ
Is TimeFactor center positive or center negative? Center positive, on a 5.5 mm / 2.5 mm barrel at 9V DC and 500 mA. That is the opposite of most BOSS-style outputs, so use the supplied US adapter or a board output you can set to center positive.
Can it run two different delays at the same time? Yes. Two independent delays of up to 3 seconds each run at once, which is how you get independent left and right times, ping-pong and dual-rhythm presets.
How long is the looper? Up to 12 seconds, with variable speed and loop head and tail editing.
Does it have 5-pin MIDI? Yes. MIDI In and MIDI Out/Thru on 5-pin DIN sockets, plus MIDI over USB Type B, with MIDI clock sync and generate. USB also handles software updates.
Will my repeats cut off when I bypass it? Only if you want them to. Bypass is selectable between true analog (relay) bypass and DSP bypass, which lets the repeats ring out.
