Description
Bloom V2 in black is Jackson Audio's complete dynamics engine: six switchable optical compression modes, an active 3-band EQ, and a programmable BLOOM boost/sustainer, all recallable over MIDI.
The compressor is an optical limiter with a flat frequency response, so it changes dynamics rather than tone. The compressor, EQ and BLOOM circuits can be switched on separately or together, so the EQ and boost are also usable on their own. Bloom V2 shares its core optical compression circuit with the smaller, simpler Blossom, which uses only Bloom's Country-mode voicing with no MIDI, EQ presets, or boost section.

Controls and switches
- VOLUME — Master output level for the primary compressor.
- BLEND — Mixes clean and compressed signal; fully counter-clockwise is full compression, fully clockwise is full clean.
- COMP — Sets compression amount for the primary compressor circuit; the COMP LED shifts color as gain reduction increases.
- BASS / MIDDLE / TREBLE — Active Baxandall-style EQ, +/-12dB per band with center detents, flat at 12 o'clock.
- BLOOM — Sets boost amount (0-20dB) and, in program mode, the boost ramp time.
- Internal AUX COMP / AUX VOLUME trimmers — Set the auxiliary compressor (fixed 7.5ms attack) used by modes 5 and 6; reachable with the cover removed.
- COMP and BLOOM footswitches — Engage compression and boost independently; hold either over 1 second for program mode; press both together to toggle the EQ.

- 1 White — Limit: ultra-fast 2.5ms attack that clamps any signal like a limiter.
- 2 Green — Country: fast 7.5ms attack.
- 3 Magenta — R&B: medium 50ms attack.
- 4 Blue — Ballad: slow 120ms attack.
- 5 Aqua — Slide ("Joey"): the auxiliary compressor runs in series ahead of the primary compressor for extended sustain.
- 6 Orange — Aux: the auxiliary compressor on its own.
