Description
The Golden Boy Mini shrinks Jackson Audio's transparent overdrive into a 2.5" x 4.25" footprint, keeping a wide gain range and a 3-band Baxandall-style EQ so it clears pedalboard space without shrinking the tone.
Developed with Joey Landreth and built on the Bluesbreaker/King of Tone circuit, the Golden Boy Mini adds harmonic detail and grit to a clean tone without covering it up. It is a compact overdrive with Volume, Gain, a 3-band EQ and an Asymmetrical/LED clipping switch. The full-size Golden Boy adds an independent MOSFET boost, four MIDI-selectable clipping voices, a 4-step GAIN CYCLE, and full MIDI control, in a larger 2.7" x 4.875" enclosure.
