Golden Boy Mini vs. Golden Boy: which should you choose?
The Golden Boy Mini and the full-size Golden Boy share the same Joey Landreth-collaboration transparent-overdrive lineage, but they are different pedals. The Mini is a compact, knob-only overdrive with selectable clipping and a 3-band EQ in a smaller enclosure with a lower minimum current draw. The full-size Golden Boy adds an independent MOSFET boost, four MIDI-selectable clipping voices, a 4-step GAIN CYCLE, and full MIDI control, in a larger 2.7" x 4.875" enclosure. Choose the Mini for the smallest possible pedalboard footprint, or the full-size Golden Boy when you want MIDI recall and an onboard boost.
