Description
The Meris Enzo X is a six-voice polyphonic modular instrument synthesizer that any instrument — or a MIDI keyboard — can play, with full ADSR envelopes, onboard reverbs and drives, and no special pickup required.
Enzo X expands the original two-footswitch Enzo into a 6-voice polyphonic modular synth: full ADSR envelopes for both filter and amplitude (Enzo uses a single Filter Envelope knob and a Sustain control), dual 2500 ms delays instead of one 530 ms delay, three onboard reverbs, five drive types, full 6-voice polyphonic MIDI note input with pitch and mod wheels, and 99 presets across a color screen instead of 16.
Why guitarists choose the Enzo X
- 6-voice polyphonic synth engine, each voice with two oscillators (saw, triangle or square, with cross-modulation), a filter, a filter envelope and an amplifier envelope; tracks guitar or bass directly or plays from a MIDI keyboard — no special pickup required.
- Full ADSR envelopes on both filter and amplitude shape pads, swells, and plucky leads with real synth-level control.

Controls and switches
- Pitch, Filter, Level and Mod — dedicated front-panel knobs for the core synth parameters; the filter covers Ladder, State Variable and Twin types, and Mod works with the five modulation types.
- C1 / C2 encoders — Edit the two favorite parameters on the preset page, or the selected parameter in the edit pages.
- C3 encoder — Turns to browse presets 1–99, pushes to enter the edit pages, and holds to enter Save As.
- 4 LED buttons (1, 2, 3, Hold Modifier) — Mirror the four footswitches for desktop and studio use.
- Footswitches 1, 2, 3 — Select presets in the current bank; press 2+3 to bank up and 1+2 to bank down.
- Hold Modifier footswitch — An envelope generator switch configurable per preset as Momentary, Latching, or Tap Tempo action, also triggerable over MIDI.

- Stereo input and output on separate 1/4" jacks, switchable between instrument and line/synth level.
- 5-pin DIN MIDI In and MIDI Out (Out can be set to Thru).

- Enzo X runs on 9V DC, center-negative, 2.1 mm barrel, drawing at least 300 mA — use an isolated multi-output supply rated for that current. Power supply not included; battery operation is not supported.
- The relay true bypass is mono only; running stereo input or output, Bypass Trails, Spillover, or Kill Dry automatically switches Enzo X to Analog Buffered Bypass.

FAQ
How many voices does Enzo X have? Six fully polyphonic voices available simultaneously, each with two oscillators, a filter, a filter envelope, and an amplifier envelope.
