At its core is a smooth BC108 transistor fuzz paired with an active tone circuit, delivering everything from thick, sustaining fuzz chords to tearing, zipper-like lead tones. Hit the dedicated Octave Up footswitch to stack a fierce upper octave on top of the fuzz for screaming solos that cut through any mix.

A front-panel Fat/Bright switch completely reshapes the pedal’s contour, affecting both the fuzz and the octave response. Choose Fat for warmer, mid-forward tones with plenty of body, or Bright for a more open voice with tight lows, clear highs and a slightly scooped midrange. Tracking is solid with most pickup types across the neck, with the neck pickup offering the most pronounced octave clarity.

This reissue keeps the original Ultimate Octave circuit untouched while shrinking the housing to less than half the width of the classic unit and adding top-mounted jacks for modern pedalboards.
