About This Item
Description
A hands-free, dual-button footswitch that unlocks the BeatBuddy's deeper control — accent hits, pause/play, tap tempo, and song/genre navigation — so you never have to bend down mid-song.
Why guitarists choose this footswitch
- Purpose-built as a BeatBuddy accessory for the original BeatBuddy, BeatBuddy Mini 2 and the multiswitch inputs of BeatBuddy 2
- Momentary (not latching) switches allow nuanced, press-and-hold behaviors, with quieter operation than latching switches
- Angled, all-metal construction designed to survive touring and accidental drops, with buttons shaped for playing barefoot
- Fully assignable functions per switch, per play-state (playing vs. stopped), directly from the BeatBuddy's own menu
- Passive — no power supply or battery needed
What it can do
- Add accent hits while a song plays
- Pause and unpause the beat
- Choose song, genre and tempo hands-free; tap tempo
- Switch to half-time or double-time on command

FAQ
Is this footswitch compatible with BeatBuddy 2? Yes. BeatBuddy 2's two multiswitch inputs accept the Footswitch+, as well as the SuperSwitch and an expression pedal; set the accessory type in the Multiswitch menu.
Does it use a standard guitar-pedal cable? No — it uses a single 1/4-inch TRS (stereo) cable, not a standard mono instrument cable; a right-angle TRS cable is included, and any stereo 1/4-inch cable can replace it.
What's the difference between momentary and latching switches here? Momentary switches only activate while held down, allowing more nuanced control (like triggering an accent only on press) versus latching switches which toggle a state on/off.
Can I change what each footswitch does? Yes — from the BeatBuddy's footswitch settings you can reassign each switch's function both while a song is playing and while it's stopped (e.g., accent hit, pause/play, tap tempo, half/double time, song/genre navigation).
Does it need power? No. It is a passive footswitch that works through the TRS cable connected to your BeatBuddy.
Can I use another brand's dual footswitch instead? The BeatBuddy Mini 2 works only with the Singular Sound Footswitch; the Footswitch+ is the matched accessory for every BeatBuddy model.
