After trying several OD pedals this one is by far the best sounding. It has a lot of various features that really let you control your tone you're trying to create. It can be great for just some rock n' roll sounds like AC/DC with the gain volume turned right down as it adds the right amount of crunch, or if you crank up the gain, and presence, and adjust the tightness it can really give you a heavy metal sound that works great for most metal sounds without having to get to crazy into distortion sounds. It's a great middle channel with a lot of options. Pairs perfect with Marshall and EVH style amps.

Sorry for my mistakes, im french.
I had received it 5 days ago. I was changing amp and searching for a perfect brown sound. Id tried it on my boogie road king, sound bad. Than id put it in front my Traynor yvc40 and it sound bad. So i ask for a return. Id received a wonderful service from the seller and i was to ship it back yesterday but i decided to buy another amo, a marshall sc20c, jcm 800 studio. Let me tell you that my search for the tone is over. That pedal with that amp give the perfect brown sound. Just putting the gain at 9 oclock is enough to have a nice rythme and lead tone for hard rock. All setting sound good and was ugly in the other amps.

So try this mix, you’ll be surprise!!!

I have a Friedman Runt amp but I like using the gain channel as a pedal platform. This lets me have that beautiful hi-fi Friedman gain while being able to use my fuzz pedals.

This has more gain than you'll ever need. There's an internal trim pot to adjust the maximum gain. I left it in the stock position and it's perfect for my needs. No boost pedals needed.

If you want that high gain modded Marshall stack sound then this is the pedal you're looking for.

It's on the pricey side but the tone this thing puts out is worth it.

Expensive but totally worth it. It has a ton of gain and emulates tube distortion very well. It even clean up when rolling down volume knob on your guitar!

This is the best OD/distortion type pedal I have ever tried. Easy to dial in 80's style tones from Iron Maiden to Megadeth. Enjoy.
