DDT™ Drop Down Tuning Electric Guitar Strings maintain their intonation at lower tunings thanks to Accurate Core Technology™ (ACT™), a coated hexagonal core wire that locks the nickel-plated steel wrap wire in place to increase stability and maintains intonation at any tension. DDTs go right into tune and deliver clean and clear notes. Change tunings and be surprised how DDT's lock right in without constant adjustment.

Durano una vita e catturano bene tutte le frequenze. Le migliori.

Great strings, deep tones, easy enough to string up. Good price and durable as I like to hammer down on my strings a lot

I play in Drop C, D standard, and C standard on an Epiphone Les Paul and these strings are perfect for me. I used other strings for many years, but I kept having to adjust my truss rod and bridge to compensate for the lack of tension. This set is excellent and provides great intonation in my tuning range. I tried another brand of strings with this gauge and they sounded ridiculously twangy. I've also had a lot of trouble with locking in the tuning of some other brands and, I have to say, these lock in better than any other brand I've tried. They lock in so well its almost like I have a Floyd Rose -- I can go without playing for a long time in both humid and dry conditions and these are never more than a tiny bit off when I pick up the axe again. When I take care to properly clean my strings and apply string glide after I play, they also last a lot longer than some other brands I've bought. Because of my excellent experience with DR strings, these are my go-to brand and I won't be playing anything else.

Tuning to Drop B on a 25.5 scale tension feels good for the most part, but 4th and 5th strings are pushing about 30lb of tension versus 18lb on the other strings. They sound very punchy though. Usually last me a few months.

I usually go for Curt Mangan strings, but for down tuning I will always go for DR DDT. They last forever and will never break on you.
