These strings, and this brand, are new to me. I've generally always used Ernie Ball strings, which are really good. I thought I'd give these a try, given their consistently good reviews.

I have to say I'm glad I did. They are more expensive, and you really do have to take more time and care when you fit them. They come with fitting guidance and you really do need to follow it. It's there for a reason!

But once fitted they play and sound great. I've always alternated between 10's and 11's on my Telecaster. I like the warmer thicker sound of 11's, but I like the easier playing with 10's. With these DR Veritas 10's, I seem to get the best of both. They sound like 11's, but play as 10's, as they should.

So I'm very impressed so far and I think I'll be sticking with them now. They last much longer too, so in the long run will probably save me a little money.

BTW I play a Telecaster, as I say. I play mostly 'Americana' - rockabilly, country, blues and most shades in between. I use a thumb pick, I'm not a shredder and I don't do heavy string bending.

Onestamente credo siano ottime corde, comode, un po' particolari al tatto ma durano sicuramente di più di quelle normali...sono da consigliare, ma sinceramente (dopo un approccio molto deludente anni fa' forse per mia inesperienza) su tutte le chitarre ho montato elixir nanoweb e optiweb, che oltre ad essere super durevoli hanno anche un meraviglioso effetto a livello tattile...prima usavo solo rotosound che restano comunque eccellenti tra le corde normali, ma spesso soffrivo di piaghe e spaccature nei polpastrelli forse per allergia al nickel, con le veritas e le elixir sembra non succedere più..ad ogni modo le veritas sono ottime corde e mi sento di consigliarle

Installed new strings. Sound and feel like new strings. Packaged well. Let's see how they sound after some time.
