Description
The H9 Gen 2 puts the H90's algorithm library into the compact enclosure that started the format: pick one algorithm, get Eventide's reverb, delay, pitch, modulation, granular and vocal processing behind it, and change presets with seamless spillover.
The H9 Harmonizer Gen 2 is the current compact Harmonizer: modern ARM processing, 74+ algorithms covering the full H90 and H9 Max libraries including the Harmonizer+ vocal suite, and more than 1,000 presets out of the box with H9 Classic preset compatibility. It runs one algorithm at a time, which keeps the workflow simple and the footprint small. The H90 runs two algorithms at once and is the choice when you want more complex routing.

Controls
- Two programmable footswitches with status LEDs.

- Level meters: four LEDs show the levels of the two channels.

- Inputs 1-2 and Outputs 1-2: 1/4" TS jacks at instrument or line level, for mono or stereo.
- EXP: 1/4" TRS for an expression pedal or CV. CTL: 1/4" TRS for a 1 to 3 button aux switch.
- MIDI In and MIDI Out/Thru on 5-pin DIN.
- USB-C (USB 2.0) for the Eventide Control app on macOS and Windows, updates and MIDI. Bluetooth control for Mac and iPad is planned for a future update.
- Power: 9-12V DC center-positive through a 5.5 / 2.5 mm barrel; a 12V 1A universal supply is included. Use an isolated output, never a shared center-negative daisy chain.
- The Barn3 OX9 aux switch made for the original H9 does not fit the Gen 2.

FAQ
How is the Gen 2 different from the original H9? It moves to modern ARM processing and carries the full H90 and H9 Max algorithm libraries, with 74 or more algorithms, more than 1,000 presets out of the box and seamless spillover between presets.
Can it run two algorithms at once? No. Like every H9, it runs one algorithm at a time. The H90 is the Eventide pedal that runs two algorithms at once.
Will my old H9 presets still work? Yes. The Gen 2 is H9 Classic preset compatible.
What power supply does it need? 9-12V DC center-positive through a 5.5 / 2.5 mm barrel. A 12V 1A universal supply is included. Use an isolated output, never a shared center-negative daisy chain.
Does it have Bluetooth? Not yet. Bluetooth control for Mac and iPad is planned for a future update. USB-C connection to the Eventide Control app on macOS and Windows works now.
