Which Eventide Harmonizer is this?
The H90 is the two-engine flagship: 74 algorithms, two of them running at once inside every Program, four inputs and four outputs, and two inserts that can be placed anywhere in the chain including an amp effects loop. The H90 Dark Harmonizer is the same platform in a limited black colorway, so it behaves identically. The compact H9 Harmonizer Gen 2 carries the same modern algorithm library but runs one algorithm at a time in a much smaller enclosure with a simpler knob workflow, and the earlier H9 Max Dark is the legacy 52-algorithm generation of that compact format. Choose the H90 when you want two effects and complex routing; choose an H9 when you want one great effect and a small footprint.

Power and pedalboard compatibility
Runs on a 12V DC center-positive supply through a 5.5 / 2.5 mm barrel jack and draws up to 1000 mA (1 A). A standard 9V pedalboard rail cannot feed it, so use the included universal 12V supply or a dedicated board output rated 12V at 1 A or more. Eventide does not publish a true-bypass claim for this platform: preset bypass and insert bypass are mapped to the PERFORM footswitches instead, with momentary states available, and the two inserts can be placed anywhere in the chain including an amp effects loop.

Can the H90 really run two effects at once? Yes. Every Program loads two of the 74 algorithms and runs them together, in series or in parallel, and you can place the two inserts at different points in your rig.
Will a 9V pedalboard supply run the H90? No. The H90 needs 12V DC center positive at up to 1 A on a 5.5 / 2.5 mm barrel jack. Use the included universal supply or a board output rated for 12V at 1 A or more.
