Description
A Fuzz Octave Pedal with Monophonic Synth, a collaboration between the twisted minds of Eventide Audio, Third Man Hardware, and Jack White. This diabolical fuzz pedal takes your tone on a nightmarish journey through crushing distortion and eerie synth tones. Created with the visual design by renowned artist Rob Jones, Knife Drop's visceral appearance perfectly matches its aggressive sound. Whether you're creating monstrous growls or supernatural melodies, Knife Drop is designed to haunt your sound. Classic Synth Tones, Crushing Distortion More than just a fuzz pedal; Knife Drop crushes the three-way blend of your input signal, monophonic analog-stye synth, and Footswitch-enabled Octaves. An ADSR-style envelope sweeps the cutoff frequency of a resonant lowpass filter with adjustable Attack, Resonance, and Cutoff. Swap the filter position pre- or post-distortion to explore radically altered textures. Features: Synth Mix: Blend your input signal with a monophonic synth. Dial fully clockwise for pure synth horror, or counterclockwise for spine-chilling fuzz. Drive: Push the distortion to extreme levels, adding a layer of grit that intensifies past 2 o’clock, ensuring your tone is as dirty as a back-alley slasher flick. Output Level: From -12 to +9 dB, find the perfect balance of terror with 0 dB at 12 o’clock. Attack: Use the filter envelope to sweep from a fast, responsive attack to a long, creeping rise, (0 to 1000 ms); making your sound creep in like a killer in the dark. Resonance: Dial in the resonance of the low pass filter, making your notes resonate with an eerie, supernatural quality. Cutoff: Select the starting frequency for the filter envelope sweep, carving out your place in the sonic underworld. Alt LED Button: Hold this button momentarily to modify the secondary parameters. Active LED Button: Press to toggle filter position: Green = Filter pre-distortion, Red = Filter post-distortion, Off = Effect is bypassed. Octave LED Button: Press to toggle Octaves selection: Green = Upper octave only, Red = Upper + Sub Octaves, Off = Octaves Off. Active Foot Footswitch: Turns the effect On or Off Octaves Footswitch: Turns the Octaves On or Off
