Description
Misha does not ask you which notes to play. It asks which intervals to move, so a sequence becomes a set of steps up and down through a scale, and one change of starting pitch rewrites the whole melody.
Misha is Eventide's 28 HP Eurorack instrument and sequencer. Each key moves up or down the selected scale by a set interval, an approach rooted in twelve-tone composition and designed to reward spontaneity. It has its own stereo audio output from an internal oscillator and connects to the rest of a modular system with CV, gates, clock and MIDI.

What makes Misha different from a normal sequencer? Most sequencers store fixed notes. Misha stores intervals, so a sequence is a set of moves through a scale. Change the starting pitch or the scale and the whole phrase transforms while keeping its shape.
How wide and how deep is it? It is a 28 HP module, 142 mm (5.6 in) wide in a standard 3U rack, and about 19 mm (3/4 in) deep, so it fits shallow cases.
How much current does it draw? 105 mA from the +12V rail, 5 mA from the -12V rail and 0 mA from +5V of the Eurorack bus. It is powered by the rack through the supplied ribbon cable; there is no external adapter.
Does Misha make sound on its own? Yes. Its internal synth combines sine, square, saw and triangle waveforms and plays through a DC-coupled stereo output, so it works as an instrument as well as a sequencer.
