Description
ModFactor puts a second LFO on top of the first, so a chorus can breathe, a phaser can drift out of step with itself, and a rotary sound can spin up from slow to fast under your foot instead of sitting at one fixed speed.
ModFactor is the modulation member of Eventide's Factor floor range, with ten effect families and a dedicated SLOW/FAST ramp switch. TriceraChorus is the compact specialist if you specifically want the three-voice tri-chorus and MicroPitch detune sound, and Riptide covers Uni-Vibe territory alongside two drive voices.

- Bypass: true analog (relay) bypass, or DSP bypass that lets effect tails ring out, which suits an amp effects loop.

FAQ
What makes ModFactor different from a normal chorus pedal? Two LFOs work together, so the movement keeps evolving instead of repeating a fixed back-and-forth sweep. It also covers ten effect families, from chorus and phaser to rotary, tremolo and ring modulation.
Does the SLOW/FAST switch really ramp, or does it just jump? It ramps. The dedicated SLOW/FAST footswitch glides the LFO rate between the slow and fast settings in real time, which is what rotary-speaker parts need.
Can I sync the modulation to my band's tempo? Yes. LFO rates lock to tap tempo or to MIDI clock received over the 5-pin DIN MIDI In or USB, and the pedal can also generate MIDI clock.
What power supply does it need? 9V DC center-positive, 500 mA, on a 5.5 mm / 2.5 mm barrel. Center positive is the opposite of most BOSS-style pedalboard outputs, so use the included Eventide supply or an output that can be set to center positive. There is no battery operation.
