Description
The Hotone Pulze Mini AP-5WH is a battery-powered practice amp that fits in a bag, with 52 amp models, 48 cab sims, a drum machine, and up to 11.5 hours of runtime for electric, bass, or acoustic instruments.
Pulze Mini uses Hotone's CDCM HD and F.I.R.E. modeling engine in a 368 g cabinet with a custom 2" full-range speaker. Tones are built and edited in the Pulze Editor app over Bluetooth, the same Bluetooth link streams backing tracks through the speaker, and the USB-C port turns the amp into a recording interface. This is the white finish; a black version is also made.
Why guitarists choose the Pulze Mini
Truly cordless practice: a built-in 3.8V 3900mAh lithium battery delivers roughly 5.5 hours of continuous playback at medium volume, or up to 11.5 hours on headphones, charged over USB-C.
191 effects (incl. global EQ) and up to 200 tones across 7 effect modules with editable chain order, plus 100 drum rhythm patterns with a built-in metronome, all running on 24-bit/48kHz processing.
52 amp models and 48 cab models, including five official Celestion speaker IRs, plus a built-in tuner and a Songlist mode for quick tone changes.
USB 2.0 Type-C doubles as a full USB Audio 2.0 interface with 2-in/2-out, loopback, and reamp support, so this travel amp can also record straight into your DAW.
Works with the Pulze Control wireless MIDI footswitch (sold separately) for hands-free preset changes.
Up to 20 user-loadable IRs (24-bit/48kHz mono WAV, 1024 points) let you dial in your own cabinet captures alongside the built-in cab sims.
One 2" custom full-range speaker at Class D 5W keeps the whole unit small and light at just 368 g.

Can I control it wirelessly with a footswitch? Yes, Pulze Mini works with the Pulze Control wireless MIDI footswitch, sold separately.

I was tired of using an app to explore and change sounds. I'm very happy with my Pulze mini. Easy to use and it sounds great.

Awesome as a audio interface/modeller
The unit has a lot of tricks up it's sleeve with the ability to switch between Bluetooth and modeller using physical buttons. As well as pulling up a great tuner, also with the push of a button.
Lots of decent presets but you can configure all your own tones and save them.
The plugin downloaded and installed very easily on my phone and honestly I'd rather have that to adjust everything than some tiny screen on the unit.
The tones are LEGIT. Not what you might get from a Fractal unit but for the price they punch above the weight class. Run it into your usb and you can start recording on your computer without any other hardware. I'd probably just skip buying an audio interface and use this thing. Surprisingly has some rare effects to choose from like a Boss dimension C. Over all worth every penny. The only drawback is the speaker is lower quality/output than I was expecting. But plugged into some powered monitors or straight into a PA using the 1/8" out works great.
