Description

Modular Instrument Synthesizer with analog and digital synth heritage, advanced processing and high performance signal path.

Enzo X is a supernova expansion from the original Enzo into the highest quality and most flexible polyphonic synthesizer ever created in a pedal format (with no pickup installation required). To make this complex system immediately intuitive to navigate, we leveraged the simple and easy to use UI first developed for LVX. 5 synth modes including a 6 voice poly synth and modules including ambience, modulation, filters, drives and more will expand your creativity to the beyond.

"I always dreamed of releasing a synthesizer. And with Enzo X, we released a fully polyphonic monster that you can trigger with any instrument."

Jaw-dropping, mostly

The sounds, the UI, the breadth and depth of possibilities for tweaking and sound sculpting are all absolutely staggering. Like many other reviewers out there, I've found it easiest to take an existing preset that sounds close(-ish) to something I'd like and then modify from there, rather than start completely from scratch. The only thing I think perhaps doesn't *quite* live up to the hype is the tracking or voice assignment in the poly synth mode. Maybe I need to adapt my technique better to get it to match the chord voicings I'm playing on guitar. It's far from bad, just not quite as flawlessly magical as I had hoped. Single-note tracking is great. Overall, it's not absolutely perfect, but still damned amazing.

Third time’s the charm

After finding great creative uses for the Meris Polymoon, Ottobit, and Hedra, I picked up the OG Enzo. I found the UI so damn frustrating and unpredictable for live use that I sold it, but eventually broke down and bought it again because of an arp setting that I loved and nothing else could replicate. I then picked up the Mercury X, which is incredible and solves the limitations of the original interface, so when the revised Enzo came out I jumped on it. I haven’t had the time required to dig deep and craft personal programs, but I’m confident it’s a keeper.
