I can't say enough good things about the Cali76. It's extremely versatile, transparent and built like a tank. It's 'shiny kit' for sure. I can't get a bad sound out of this pedal. Origin Effects have some helpful setting suggestions that get you started. If I were to pick only three pedals for my board (out of the many that I have floating around), this would be my first choice. It was also shipped and arrived very quickly from Electric Mojo Guitars.

Picked this up for bass sessions here in the studio. This was recommended and I see why. It helps dial in the right amount of clank and balance that I've been looking for. Previously used a distressor. Which I also love. But this just has something a bit more colored that I love. Also tried it out by reamping main vocals through it with varying results. But mostly good. My 1 complaint was it not coming with a power supply and doesn't take batteries. So I had to dig around to find something that worked. Ultimately bought the one that was recommended with this.

I create kick and snare drum sounds by hitting the body of my acoustic guitar really hard. I needed a compressor that could handle those big hits and make the PA really thump!! ZERO compressor pedals I tried could create this except the Cali76. It's so PRO it makes everything else sound like a cheap, crappy toy. It's the difference between hearing a 357 Magnum and a toy cap gun from 7-11. My beats have never sounded better! Worth every penny! A+++

It is my first compressor pedal, but I'm really happy to use it. It sounds without any issues on clean. But when I'm playing with high gain, Some noises arrived. But I think I understand why: the thing is that compressor works a bit like a saturator and the nice coming only if there a really silent sound or guitar doesn't play at all, so compressor makes good saturation, but it trying to make the sound louder even when I don't need it. I think some gate pedals can help me
