Description

T-Rex Møller 2 delivers the same classic overdrive that made it's predecessor one of T-Rex’s most sought-after pedals. Named after Danish guitarist Knud Møller, for whom the original pedal was designed, Møller 2 features a more durable “Bass Boost” toggle switch and easier-to-read control knob graphics. The pedal is armed with a 0-20 db clean boost, as well as a mix control which lets you dial in the perfect balance between distorted and clean signals. Rolled all the way up and with distortion maxed, the pedal sounds just like a vintage tube amp at full volume. Roll the Mix knob back a bit, and your clean signal starts to get through; if you pick lightly or roll back your guitar volume, you get a stunning clean, softly-clipping sound that retains all the feel and dynamics of your original tone, only bigger, louder and richer. The boost function lets you dial in a solo level, whether the overdrive circuit is activated or not.

  • Classic bluesy overdrive
  • Provides a wealth of dynamic tones
  • Dial in the perfect balance between overdrive and clean signal
  • Independent clean boost for your solo
  • Stunning bluesy sound with just a little dirt around the edges

Sounds really good

I bought this to put on my practice pedalboard and it sounds great. It hasn’t made it to my gigging pedalboard yet, but I might have to try it.

This pedal is a fantastic addition for anyone looking for some dirt & clean boost all in one. The distortion & gain sound real you can get very warm overdriven tones to treble ended gain no problem, very simple to go from just a bit to very heavy & with tone & bass addition makes it very versatile. And top that off with the boost section and you get super clean added volume to your amp which is fantastic for playing live in band setting. The boost just adds volume & keeps your tone in tact you just get more of it ! I play mostly classic rock, country & blues in a band and this pedal covers it all.

The physical quality feels absolutely top-self. Best pots and footswitches I've used really. The blend/mix knob is a major part of this pedals functionality, and one of the aspects setting it apart from the many similar pedals also based on a tubescreamer type circuit. My only complaint is that it really cuts a lot of low-end. I compensate by using the boost mode (which seems to bring a lot of the bass back) and also upping the low frequencies with a downstream EQ pedal. The tone knob is quite gradual and doesn't get super dark; I mostly leave it fully open. Its really fun to combine high gain with low blend, and vice versa. At $180CAD its a solid mid-pack cost. Twice the price of really budget pedals, but still half the cost of American hand-assembled pedals. Given the awesome sounds, really broad versatility, and exceptional build quality, the Moller2 is a real winner for me and really great $ value too.

Great sound and useable versatility

Yes, I bought the Moller2/Boost pedal a few weeks ago and have experimented here at home with it. I'm delighted with the sound and the independent boost. I will gig with it in a couple of weeks but can confidently say that it will be very good. I've found this to be true with all of my T-rex pedals (5) They are well designed and built and the sound quality is superb. Thanks Lars and Sebastian and crew, cheers. R.Wood

If you like tube screamers you should love this
It's got the ts sound with the added bonus of having a clean mix I honestly didn't think I would care too much about the dry mix but it really makes this so much more.
The boost is pretty transparent meaning it doesn't color the sound but it does just not much and not in a bad way
The bass boost is good if your switching from a les paul to a strat it does give it a bit more meat
It's a great pedal with a slightly overdriven amp or as a drive platform on a clean amp for rock acdc Aerosmith type stuff
