No Modifications Required

Vega-Trem is designed to fit the existing tremolo cavity. If your guitar has a tremolo system installed already — no need for extra drilling & sanding. Spoil yourself, not you guitar. We know it means a lot.

Plug-and-Play

We know that microtuners give people nightmares. The VT1 is a breeze to install and set up at home, with all the keys & parts included in every package. Don't forget to get the strings though!

Fits Your Strat

Whether you stick to your original Fender classics or prefer other brands' versions of the design — we got you covered. Choose 2-point or 6-point Vega-Trem depending on your existing tremolo and you're good to go!

Perfect Fit

Vega-Trem is the most compact tremolo out there, so it won't stick out from the guitar body, taking playing comfort to the next level.

Great Aesthetics

Looks aren't everything... Unless it's your guitar. Your choice of glossy, satin, black or gold finish, all gorgeous.

Pulls Up & Down

Unlike any other tremolo, VT1 is not limited by guitar body when pulling the tremolo bar up, thus extending musical capabilities.

Uncompromised Quality

Every part of Vega-trem bridges is made of surgical-grade steel. Manufactured in Europe to ensure rigorous, hands-on quality control.

Installed on my Kramer beretta special the paint chip was from another trem i tried . As one review stated there is a issue with saddle set screws i had one with the same issue acting stripped out. I just took a set screw from another bridge and it worked. But for what you pay for these things that should not be a issue. Other than that good trem.

I purchased the Vega-Trem last month and installed it in a Haywire Custom Guitars strat copy. The installation was initially complicated because the vibrato/tremolo rubbed against the cavity wall. That caused the unit to fail in maintaining tuning because the unit wouldn’t return to zero, which I consider the point of the upgrade. I botched a previous tremolo upgrade on this guitar, so it wasn’t pristine. That gave me the courage to Dremel the area where the rubbing was happening. If I could do it over, I would have used files to do this because my wife opened the garage door and scared the pants off me, and I slipped and messed up the finish of my guitar. THIS WAS TOTALLY MY FAULT. Once I got over it, I installed it with clearance, which operated flawlessly. It now floats and stays in rock-solid tune.
I had a lot of trouble breaking strings after that. The point of breakage was always the same, though. It was always at the hole beneath the saddles, where the machined stainless steel is clearly sharp.
I contacted Vega-Trem support in Spain via the website and we went back and forth about it. I gave the model number, hoping it may have been a serial number. My inquiry was if they had any other users bring this up. They said they’d not had any running problems to relating to mine. They suggested that perhaps I was getting too rough and overusing it. I can understand why they would respond that way because I worked product support for the largest hobby manufacturer in the world. User error and misuse account for most complaints with tech products, I get it.
Even with the fact that I’m breaking more strings than I’d ever done in 30 years, I am still really pleased how well my guitar stays in tune now. I’ve learned a lot about maintaining the nut and saddles. I’ve also began using Nut Sauce and a graphite nut, and the difference is remarkable. I wish the Vega-Trem was available when I was younger because it’s given me the most enjoyment I’ve ever had. I have the satisfaction of owning the most playable guitar ever now. I have seven axes currently. I am seriously considering trading my Les Paul for another Strat now just so I can have another outstanding guitar that performs like mine equipped with the Vega-Trem. I better start saving today in the meantime.
